This silk painting workshop lead by Carly Leech will cover different silk painting techniques, including scrunching with salt, scrunching with sugar syrup, cold wax, gutta on stretched silk, wet on wet, wet on dry, water droplets on wet and then choosing their favourite technique for a final piece on a silk scarf.
Carly will provide handouts on each technique, materials used and how to fix the dyeing process with steam.
